The Crow.
Part 2.
Dear Diary,
February 21st, 2026.
Now we’re in the season of Pisces, the poet of the fathomless oceans, merging with the divine. Pisces are truly made of water. There exists an ocean of tears inside them. They say Jesus was a Pisces, either a Capricorn born on Christmas Day, or a Pisces, the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end. And Jesus is recorded to have cried three times in the Bible, deep tears of sorrow, compassion, and pain. He is the Man of Sorrows. From my perspective, it seems to me that crying is probably of the most spiritual acts our bodies can do. Just like the ocean, our tears are the most magical with a seemingly never-ending capacity to produce, to regenerate, and to flow in times of joy and sadness and anger and pain and in love. And that’s because tears express a connection with the divine.
In the Spring of 2023, I had my first message from the heavens in the form of a raven who attacked the crown of my head. And the next part of the journey is unbelievable, but it’s true. Exactly one year later, in the Spring of 2024, it happened again. This time, it was an empty street. And out of the clear blue sky, another crow dove on top of my head. He made a double dive on top of me, and this time he cried. The raven can copy the sound of a human, sometimes almost indistinguishable from the original sound. And I thought, isn’t that just the way it is? It can sound very real. But of course, it’s not. It’s just a crow.
When my grandfather first had that handshake deal with the talent agents of the comic book character, they in fact copied his style into their narratives. He performed free shows for war veterans in hospitals and children in orphanages. And the comic character did as well. The real life Mandrake the Magician was a humanitarian who met people on the road, took them under his wing, built up their confidence, gave them a job, bringing them into his world on stage. My grandfather lived an authentic life, one that was emulated, imitated, and copied by others. And although there will always be copycats, “all things work for the good of those love God with all their hearts and souls” who cry tears of genuine love and compassion and sorrow and joy.

There are so many great takeaways from both Parts 1 and 2, I don’t know which made the most impact on me, but it’s all resonating, like if my head was inside an ancient, struck church bell, carrying the memories of generations of us earthlings and, perhaps, those of other realms …
