The Painter and the Writer (Interview)

Time Capsule project. The next in the video series of "Cross-Interviews" where Alex Neptune and I interview each other - painting, travel, and writing the documentary movie, "The Real Anthony Fauci".

March of 2023, I met a painter named Alex Neptune. We met in Florida and talked for two hours during that first encounter. We found we had many things in common. We both love to write and explore many avenues of art. We both love to travel solo. We both could see through the imbalance of power imposing restrictions on our freedom of movement, our freedom of being, of thriving, of becoming. We spoke about politics and our corrupt health system and the values he grew up with. I told him about the documentary film based on Bobby Kennedy's book that I had just written and directed the year before. And the next month Alex and I met in Boston to support Bobby Kennedy's announcement to run for president. Later we would meet again at Tavern on the Green in New York. He was on his way to a funeral in Brooklyn, and I was on my way to Newark. We spoke about God and art and airplanes. When I finally saw Alex's art, I could see it all poured into his pictures. So we met again.
