Dear Diary,

I arrived to a white Christmas Eve at JFK airport in New York. I had taken a red eye from the West Coast - from watching the sunrise in Malibu, and the sunsets at Crystal Cove, to watching flamethrowers and aerial dancers in Portland, and enjoying a Christmas party with two of America's modern pop surrealist artists at their home tucked in the woods of Oregon. All were lovely, very warm and unique experiences.

My recent travels have been accented by dancing fires, and a moon that has been silent and hidden behind clouds.

And on the last day of this year, there is the rare occurrence of two new moons in one month. 2024 will end with a promise of the new moon in Capricorn. Just as the two consecutive full moons in Capricorn earlier this year marked the beginning of the end of a sixteen-year cycle making way for new rules, new laws, a fresh start.

Someone asked me how the study of astrology fits in with the Holy Trinity. For me it's like the dancing fire, the symbol of the holy spirit. It's a dance - from the Heavenly realms, to this Earthly world. Astrology is of the Earthly world. Those sparkling lights in the sky do influence our lives down here, just as the moon magnetically pushes and tugs at the oceans. But the Holy Trinity is the Heavenly realm, the realest world. It cannot be calculated, or measured, or be dictated by time and space, because the realest truth has no time or space. It can never be measured by any science, not astrology, or psychology, or philosophy. These are all amazing tools to navigate this Earth but they remain confined, restricted, and trapped in this one-dimensional plane - on this stage, in this theater, with these actors. And so it's like watching a movie.

With Astrology, I can draw up the charts and try to solve the mysteries, try to solve the crimes playing out in front of me, but the ultimate balance and justice will always come from the Heavens. It is eternal, and beautiful, and always elevated by pure love.
