Visiting Hades. This year a Pisces-Virgo polarity begins its journey to bring us closer to that middle place, where purity meets poetry.
It's where the pure heart of Virgo meets poetic Pisces.
I tend to fall in love like a Pisces, fully immersed in the emotion, the underwater. And then I become utterly disappointed when I swim back up to the surface. Is this how Persephone felt when she was ripped away from her Virgo mother, Demeter, the Greek mythological mother earth?
I was born under the sign of Pisces with a full moon in Virgo.
So, just as I had in other involuntary select moments of my life, I re-visited Hades. The underworld, the subconscious mysteries of the psyche. This is the psychological deep dive. These were the times in which I was imprisoned like Rapunzel in the tower, or alone in the mazes of Venice's watery streets.
And even though Hades rules the invisible realm, the dark caves and caverns of the subconscious, he is not bad. In fact he brings out the greatest of hidden treasures. He seeks to transform and expand the soul. He pulls the rug out from underneath and into a spiritual bootcamp for a while, out of comfortable places. I've grown to love it - training these spiritual muscles. But only with the holy spirit.
Hades is a hero that pulls me in and turns me upside down, shaking out all of the old outworn stuff that no longer serves me, and then plunges me back up onto the earthly realm once again.
Love,
Kala
